Continuing Education Opportunities

At Agate Social Works, we understand how essential ongoing professional growth is for school social workers — not just to maintain licensure, but to stay at the forefront of trauma-informed practices, mental health strategies, and school-based support systems.

Drawing on our commitment to professional development and the needs of today’s busy practitioners, we’re excited to offer a collection of online video resources designed specifically to help school social workers earn continuing education units (CEUs) at their own pace.

These engaging, practical video modules provide flexibility to learn when and where it fits your schedule, deepen your skills in key areas of practice, and support your ongoing journey toward excellence in supporting students, families, and school communities.

Supporting Educator Well-Being

Regulated adults are the key to regulated students. Supporting Educator well-being is a critical piece of social, emotional, and academic growth for students.

It’s a challenge for building leaders to know where to start and how to sustain this work in light of all that happens in an academic year!

This session explores the impacts of secondary and vicarious trauma, and the importance of adult nervous system awareness and regulation.

The components of trauma-responsive workplace structures are explored, while supporting awareness of current generational trends.

Participants will leave with practical first-steps.
